Key Features of the Program:

Teachers need to allow as many opportunities as possible for children to plan, implement, organize, question, research, discuss and produce in the learning process. In order for the child to gain positive attitudes towards school, learning and research; It is important to develop a positive self-perception, to feel valued, to interact with peers and teachers. In addition, the child should be given freedom to participate actively in activities, to choose the activities and materials to play in educational environments.

It is suitable to be adapted and individualized according to the changing characteristics of the child, the physical environment and the family. It gives the teacher the opportunity to make necessary adjustments in the education process according to the daily and instant changes that may arise. The teacher who uses this program implements and evaluates the daily training plans in line with the training program prepared by ProfKIDS. The teacher can bring together the achievements and indicators and concepts in the curriculum in different ways; implement its activities in an integrated or separate manner; It can enrich the learning processes by making use of the subject content we have prepared, games, videos, flash cards, worksheets, activity examples and other ready-made educational materials.

The child learns through play, gets to know himself and the world he lives in through play, expresses himself best during play, and gains critical thinking skills in play. The child’s language is play; In other words, play is the child’s work. It is especially recommended that the game be used as a method and/or activity while the objectives and indicators are discussed in the program. Learning through play is seen as an integral part of this program and pre-school education.

It’s Balanced

Since the program aims to support the development of children in many ways, the achievements and indicators related to all development areas should be handled in a balanced way in education plans. Similarly; It is important to balance passive and active activities, types of activities (language, alphabet, mathematics, games, etc.), working styles (large group, small group, individual), the place where the activity is performed (indoor and outdoor), and the time allocated to the activities.

In exploratory learning, it is important for the child to actively participate in the learning process, transfer what he has learned to different situations and use it in new situations. The program encourages the child to notice what is happening around him, to ask questions about the subjects he is curious about, to research, to discover and to learn by playing. Thus, meaningful learning takes place instead of rote-based learning.
